None Other Than - MSD

Image
He came, He saw, He thought, He conquered… Cricket is a religion in a country like ours. We see our cricket players as warriors, not just a sportsman.  For initial couple of decades, cricket in India was majorly confined with players from Metro cities like Bombay, Madras, Delhi and Bangalore. To encourage talents and skills from other cities and especially villages was occasional as well as unwanted. While we were busy enjoying golden era of legends like Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, God was (in back-end) preparing a complete package for Indian cricket lovers J There cannot be any comparison between these legends and MSD or between any two cricketers same like the Sun and the Moon cannot be compared. Every player is different and so is their time. Captaining a side having Stalwarts like Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly as team was a matter of privilege for him. He had never been disrespectful for his seniors and still had the courage to stand

KARMA v/s DESTINY

Mythology is a very interesting and meaningful subject, be it a story of Lord Krishna or Lord Rama. Though I have very shallow knowledge of it, I believe that Lord Rama is more respected but Lord Krishna enjoys staunch favoritism. Sole reason of this, is his multi-dimensional character. He knew when and where to use truth, justice and politics. If we glance at his life, it is self-explanatory to an extent. His existence as Human Avatar is with a purpose which we all know. I often ask questions of Lord Krishna’s life incidents to my mother (as she is the most knowledgeable in the family when it comes to mythology). The biggest question I have about his life is his birth. Why did he take birth as 8th child of Devaki and Vasudeva instead of coming foremost? He could have taken birth as 1st child of Devaki and Vasudeva and protect mankind from the cruelty of Kansa quite early. After all the conversations and arguments, my mother ends up saying, those people had to face their destiny and

It is hard to be a woman!!

It is hard to be a woman…She has to think like a man, work like a horse, act like a lady and look like a girl… J A woman is…           Her daddy’s valentine from the day she is born           A mirror for her mom and a life which she always wanted to live           The one who cares and loves her father more but admire her mother most           Her sibling’s companion and a feeling that someone is always there for me           A creator full of desire, wishes, passion, dedication, ambition, love and affection           An equilibrium of a family, a source of smile for every member           A teenager who believes in fashion and style but pursue beauty and simplicity in own kind           A love in one man’s life from where his existence starts           An individual who works and lives for her family           One who can sacrifice her career and ambition for her parents and family and will never let you know what has that meant to her           A strength behi

What gets you going!!

“Small passionate eyes have the strength to convert dreams into reality”. My eyes started wooing my dream career before few years. The dream was not too big to get noticed by everyone and appreciate but personally, it was at the height from where I wanted to kick off. While working as an IT professional since last 3 years, it feels GREAT !!! Why?? Here is the answer on broad spectrum… ·          We do not have the privilege to save people’s life like a doctor, but we surely have the pride for giving all high-front/back end medical diagnostics tools which acts as doctors right hand. ·          We do not carry any creative ideas to make people’s house beautiful like what architect/Interior designers do, but we definitely have the advantage of topping people’s home with smartly designed and miniaturized machines (home appliances, entertainment gadgets, etc.) which can work so efficiently that it can reduce their effort to almost negligible. ·          We do not have the st

COVID-19 - An eye opener Pandemic

We have been reading and listening this word since couple of months more than anything else (including Hey, okay, thanks and bye). We all know what it means. We are aware of its impact as well as implications. Discussing about it is now a part of our daily routine. Let us try to have a variation in our understanding for this apart from how many countries are affected by it, number of deaths, number of people who won against it and other statistical data. As per reliable sources, this is the first time in the human history that humanity is at its peak. Do not commit a mistake of taking this positively because it is actually a sarcasm. People have been waiting to kill its likewise from other countries since last few decades. Hatred has been into people’s DNA without knowing what for and for whom? Belonging to different origin is a crime these days. More than how many lives this disease has already touched or is yet to affect, its symptoms are speaking volumes about what act

Salt-to-Taste

We all are going through a time-frame which is continuously reminding us many things. Sidelining the generic things this lock-down period is teaching us, one good takeaway is thoughtfulness. The world has come out of hustle from last few weeks. All the panic, noise and abundant movement is switched to pause mode. We unfortunately got time to sit, relax and observe the things going within and around us. I recently watched a video of famous Humanitarian Sadhguru sharing his views on what is right and what is wrong. How can one know that he/she is making right decision? He beautifully answered that there is actually nothing that can be defined as right or wrong. You do something, if it comes out as a wonderful and expected result, you feel that it was your right decision. If something miserable happens, you advertise it to be wrong. What I understood from that short questionnaire is to be thoughtful and having a perspective. Perspective is a truth to oneself. What might see
